Announcing Moneydance IV
The fourth in the wonderful fan sponsored series!
Shawn recently wrapped up his 65th Birthday tour of North
America with a fabulous show at the Minnesota Zoo. This show saw him
reunited (after 39 years) with his longtime collaborators, J Peter
Robinson and Paul Buckmaster, . It was a truly memorable evening for all
of those lucky enough to be there.
Recognizing the historic nature of this reunion, Mike Evangelist (who
produced the acclaimed Texas Days, African Nights DVD) arranged to
capture the concert so it could be shared with fans everywhere. The
concert was shot with four high definition video cameras and the audio
was recorded using top quality 8-channel digital equipment. The result
is almost a terabyte (1000 gigabytes) of excellent raw footage which we
plan to turn into a new DVD/CD set. Mike will be editing the video and J
Peter Robinson has agreed to personally mix and master the audio, so you
know it will be great.
Here's your chance to participate...
Our goal is to raise $6000 to cover the cost of editing, post-production
and pressing of the initial batch of discs.
Any amount is appreciated; but like PBS, we've got some nice incentives
to help encourage you to give a little more:
If you donate $50, you'll receive an autographed copy of Living
Collaboration: The Reunion when it's released (before the holidays if
all goes according to plan.)
Give $100 and you'll get an autographed copy -plus- your name will be
featured in the credits of the DVD.
Be part of this exciting project and help preserve and share this
special concert event with Shawn's fans everywhere. |
